Your consultation takes place in a private consultation room within a home-based practice in the leafy suburb of Tokai.

Children of all ages are welcome, including newborns and young infants with concerns such as eczema, suspected food allergy or other allergic conditions.

30 minutes | R900
Standard consultation
For straightforward concerns, follow-up appointments and ongoing management.
Extended consultation
40 minutes | R1250Â
For concerns requiring more time for assessment, allergy testing, discussion and treatment planning.
60 minutes | R1450
Comprehensive consultation
For more complex allergy or asthma concerns, multiple conditions or a detailed initial assessment.
Testing & investigations
Skin prick testing
Skin-prick testing may be performed when clinically indicated. Testing is charged separately, depending on the number of allergens tested.
Spirometry
Spirometry is a breathing test that assesses lung function and may be performed during your consultation when clinically indicated, particularly in the evaluation of asthma and other respiratory symptoms.
Spirometry is charged separately.
Investigations are recommended based on your symptoms, medical history and clinical assessment. Not every patient will require testing.
Fees & medical aid
Tokai Allergy & Asthma Practice is a cash practice.
Consultation fees are available on the online booking platform or on request.

Payment is made on the day of your appointment.

You will receive an invoice with the relevant diagnostic and procedural codes, which you can submit to your medical aid for reimbursement.
​
Reimbursement is subject to your medical scheme and plan.
